Country Dance Orlando – Real Country Dance Lessons in Orlando for Real People
For us, country dancing has always been more than a hobby—it’s how we met, how we’ve made lifelong friends, and how we’ve helped thousands of people build confidence through movement. When we moved to Florida, we wanted to create a space that felt just like the best country dance floors we’ve ever stepped onto.
We launched Country Dance Orlando because we wanted to share that same vibe with our local community. Not a show. Not a routine. Just real dancing, taught by real people, for real-life situations. Whether you’re headed to a wedding, a honky tonk, or just dancing in the kitchen with your partner, we want you to feel great doing it.
We’re not here to impress judges. Our goal is to help people connect with each other, have fun, and feel confident on the dance floor.
Lessons here are simple, social, and easy to follow. We skip the one-size-fits-all approach and instead focus on what makes dancing feel natural to you. No stiff technique or complicated rules—just movement that makes sense and feels good.
If formal studios ever felt intimidating or too serious, you’ll feel a big difference with us. There’s no pressure to perform or get every step perfect. We teach what actually works in the real world—and that’s exactly what you’ll find at Country Dance Orlando.
We’re Anthony and Rose Lewis, co-founders of X Dance—and yes, we’re also a couple. We’ve taught all over the U.S., danced on national television, coached celebrities, competed professionally, and run one of the largest dance lesson platforms online.
But what really matters to us is creating a welcoming, no-pressure learning environment. We love helping total beginners go from nervous to confident, and we believe the best dance instructors don’t just teach steps—they teach people.
